In grateful recognition of the personal support of our patrons, we offer reserved seats and a termly newsletter with advance notice of our concerts and other activities. We also have pleasure in individually acknowledging their vital contribution to the success of the choir in each concert programme.

For 170 years Guildford Choral Society has brought a wealth of music to thousands of people in and around Guildford through live concerts and recordings. During this time, the Society has established itself as one of the best amateur choirs in the country.

Guildford Choral Society is committed to bringing music-making of the highest quality to the widest possible audience by consistently working with extremely high-calibre artists and orchestras, and continuing to extend its wide repertoire.

Although Guildford Choral Society receives some grants towards its core artistic activities, the main proportion of its annual revenue is self-generated. Member subscriptions cover hire of rehearsal venues and similar expenses, but individual donations, sponsorship, and bequests form a vital part of the additional income which goes some way towards reducing the losses we inevitably make in staging quality performances.
